

She was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 9th, 1938. Barbara attended an all-girls high school in 1956, and went on to marry George Dimopoulos in 1961. Barbara was a devoted stay-at-home mother until her children were grown, she then became a dietician until she retired.
Barbara was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, and had numerous hobbies that she enjoyed, including bingo, crocheting, reading novels, and doing crossword puzzles. Her most favorite hobby was to go to Winstar Casino. She would go any possible chance she could!
She is survived by daughters: Linda Hollenkamp (Rob), Joann Pierson (Daron), Kristine Enyart (John), sons: Steven Dimopoulos and Marc Dimopoulos (Beth), grandchildren: Ryan, Ashley (Bill), Lauren, Kaitlin (Kevin), Austin, Matthew, Emma, Abigail and Geana, and sister: Marilyn Wenstrom.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Eugene and Lucille, brothers: Frank, Robert and Richard and beloved granddaughter Kristi.
We would also like to give special thanks to Phyliss Smith and family for always helping mom, and Athena Stokes, her hairstylist for always making her feel beautiful!
Services for Barbara will be held Monday, July 10th at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, located at:
5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, TX 76034. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. Services will conclude with laying Barbara to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Following the burial, the family invites you to join them for refreshments at a reception held in Barbara's honor.
