

Billie Faye Parish was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Billie will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Simply stated, Billie was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Billie leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Billie Faye Parish.

Billie Faye Todd Parish, age 89 of Fort Worth, was received into the arms of Jesus on November 17, 2017. She was born October 31, 1928, in Paragould, Arkansas to Idell and Charles Todd. She attended Southwest Bible Institute after high school, where she met John A. Parish, the love of her life. They were married June 29, 1947, and were married 54 years, until his death in 2009. She graduated from Texas Women’s University in Denton, TX, where she received her teaching degree. She taught briefly in the Birdville School System. She was a member of Fossil Creek Community Church Assembly of God for many years. Billie Faye and her husband traveled extensively with friends, family and business associates. Countries visited included Hong Kong, Great Britain, Italy, Austria, Germany, Mexico, Canada, China, Japan, Ireland and France. They also traveled around the United States, visiting most states including Arizona, Utah, and Colorado, Puerto Rico; fall foliage tours in the Northeast; Alaska, Hawaii, the Dakotas, Florida, and many trips to the Texas Coast to fish and sightsee. She is survived by her son Chip Parish of Haltom City, daughter Annette Parish Hunt of Arlington, grandchildren Chuck and Grace Parish of Colorado, John Owen and Liz Parish of Midlothian, Rachel and Garin Hill of North Carolina, Jessica and David Franco of Fort Worth, and Stephanie and Chris Rampone of New York; eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
