Mrs. Carol Sue McKnight

Carol Sue McKnight, 86, of North Richland Hills, TX went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. She was born in Sioux City, IA to the late Albert Jansen and Bessie Harper and was raised by her Father and Stepmother Mildred Wright Jansen.

Carol was wed to Harry Eldon McKnight Jr. on June 12, 1954. She was a long time member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Richland Hills, TX. Carol worked for Wilco Dept Store in Sioux City, IA and for Sears in Hurst, TX. She enjoyed being a housewife, mother of four and liked playing bingo, bridge and collecting beanie babies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Darla Wiethorn; and siblings, Frank Gill, Phyllis, Beverly Uhl, Ducky Harding and Alberta Harbeck.

Carol has left her memory to be cherished by her loving husband of 68 years, Harry; children, Michael McKnight (Stephanie), Debbie Maxwell, Matthew McKnight (Kim); grandchildren, Ryan McKnight, Malia Mims, Alan Wiethorn, Eric McKnight, Trey McKnight, Blake Wiethorn, Tyler McKnight, Kayla Wiethorn, Kendra Wiethorn, Harley Maxwell and Malcolm O’Daniel; and 13 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Carol will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034. A graveside service will occur Friday, July 22, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034.
