

Carolyn Snoyer, 82, passed away on July 24, 2017 at her home in North Richland Hills, TX. She was born on July 20, 1935 in Birmingham, AL to Eugene Charles Coston and Mable Snow Coston. Carolyn grew up in Hueytown, AL. She graduated from Hueytown High School in Hueytown, AL in 1952. After high school, she attended Birmingham Business College where she received a Certified Public Secretary degree. Carolyn began work for Southern Bell Telephone as a Secretary where she worked for 3 years. Carolyn then went to work for Thiokol Chemical as an Administrative Assistant from 1956-1965 where she met her husband Ernest D. Snoyer. They were happily married for 45 years until his death on December 4, 2008.
Carolyn belonged to Beta Sigma Phi and enjoyed sewing, embroidery, bridge, baking, animals, watching game shows and eating out. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Charles Coston, her mother, Mabel Snow Coston, and brothers Kenneth, William and Carey. Carolyn is survived by her son, Scott (Debbie) Snoyer of Brentwood, TN; her daughter Gena (Dan) Turpin of Weston, FL; her granddaughters Danielle and Taryn; and her nieces and nephews and other relatives
A memorial service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX at 10:00am, July 29, 2017. A visitation will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel at 9:00am where the family will be greeting friends and relatives. Burial will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
