

Charlene Neill was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Charlene will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
She was the daughter of Jesse and Francis McFadin.
Charlene worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Charlene was blessed with three children; daughters Sharon Howeth, Melanie Neill, and Marsha Neill. Another blessing for Charlene was the gift of six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Charlene and her husband spent over 60 years touching, and changing lives in their missionary career with the world Baptist Fellowship. Charlene always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Charlene enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were cooking and hosting numerous family gatherings. She was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.
Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Temple Baptist Church.
Charlene was laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Simply stated, Charlene was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Charlene leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Charlene Neill.

Charlene Neill went to be with her Heavenly Father on February 10, 2017. Visitation: Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Funeral: 11:00 am Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Temple Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Charlene was born on November 14, 1937 to Jesse and Francis McFadin in Fort Worth, Texas. Charlene and her husband Melbourne Neill spent over 60 years touching, and changing lives in their missionary career with the world Baptist Fellowship. Charlene was an excellent cook and loved to host family gatherings. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that will be missed. Those preceding Charlene in death are her parents, husband of 61 years Melbourne Neill, grandson Greg Howeth and sister Louise Reynolds. Those left to cherish Charlene’s memory are: daughters Sharon Howeth, husband Charles, Melanie Neill and Marsha Neill, grandchildren; Taryn, Jason, John, Merissa, Duston and Cameron, great-grandchildren; Baylee, Clayton, Michael, Max, Chance, Hailey, Zoey, Ella, Axel, Finn and Ava, great-great grandson; Layne, brothers; J.B. McFadin, wife Joy and Joe McFadin.
