On Tuesday, December 12, 2022 Charles Douglas White, a beloved husband and father, passed away. He was eighty nine. Born on June 2, 1933, Doug earned a Doctorate degree in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He went on to pastor several churches including Tabernacle Baptist Church, Bellevue Baptist Church and Restoration Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
Doug is survived by the love of his life, Larie Ann, daughter Sherrice (Robert) Copeland, son Doug (Jane), son Jay, and Chris (Amber), 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
"When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known." 1 Corinthians 13:11-12
A visitation for Charles will be held Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville, Texas.
A funeral service will occur Monday, December 19, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gateway Church of North Fort Worth Campus, 4209 Basswood Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76137. Following the church service we will have the burial starting at 3:30 at 5725 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville, Texas.
