

Chester “Chet” Marvin Davidson, 94, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 15, 2017, surrounded by family. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2017. Visitation: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2017 both at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Born on November 18, 1922 in Walnut Springs, Texas, second son of four boys to William and Viola Davidson, Chet left Bosque County when he went into the U.S. Army. He served in the 782nd Tank Battalion during WWII in Europe. Chet later moved to Fort Worth, Texas and became a carpenter with his brother Bill, and spent the rest of his life as an accomplished and successful carpenter. Chet was a devoted Christian, faithful in his church and served the Lord and Savior. He went on many mission trips to Central America to build churches, and was very active in his church. Survivors: loving wife of 23 years; Pat Davidson, brother; Charlie Davidson, wife Velma, children; Darlene Bohannon, Terry Davidson, wife Elizabeth, Julie Moore, Patty Paulk, husband Lewis, Larry Stewart, wife Sylvia, Rhonda Wright, husband Jay, Woody Stewart, wife Sue, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. He was kind and compassionate to everyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
