Mr. Cleo Patrick Sutton, 75, of Fort Worth, Texas was called to his heavenly home on June 9, 2017. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Pat, as he was lovingly known by many, was born to parents, Henry and Rosa Lia Sutton in Comanche, Oklahoma on April 8, 1942. Pat had a passion for fishing, enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He had a love for music, but he best enjoyed the sound of country. He married his wife of 55 years, Barbara on August 4, 1962. They had two daughters and they were the apple of his eye. Pat was a loving husband and dedicated grandfather. He prioritized making sure his daughters, and later his grandchildren, were all well educated and self sufficient, were always taken care of, and that they shared in the value of being a united family. He very much enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his girls, who were his beloved fishing and hunting buddies. Pat was wise beyond his years. He shared advice and was a mentor to many. His honesty and looking out for others meant he always “said things like they were” and always encouraged others to “get their ducks in a row”. Though his family loses a great man, they rest in the comfort that he will forever live in their hearts. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend will be missed by those blessed to have shared in this life journey with him. Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Rosa Lia; Sister, Henrietta Sutton. Left to cherish Pat’s memory are: his beloved wife, Barbara Sutton; daughter, Lynn McMahan and her husband, Arthur; daughter, Glenda Ray, and her husband, Robert; granddaughter, Meaghan Pugh, and her husband, Nathan; granddaughter, Madison Havranek; sister, Rosemary Barton; brother, Glenn Sutton and his wife, Janice, and numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
