Dana was born to Dan and Sandra Cook and grew up in North Richland Hills. She attended school in Euless and was raised in the Pentecostal church, where she was saved and baptized as a young girl. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through both joyous and challenging times.
In 1987, Dana married Fred Sepanlou, and together they had three beautiful daughters: Heather, Farrah, and Fallon. Dana was a devoted mother and grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her five grandchildren: Reese, Chase, Adriana, Charlie, and Sailor. Her family was her pride and joy, and she loved them deeply.
Dana had a passion for decorating her home, especially during Christmas, when she would create a magical atmosphere with her beautifully adorned tree. She enjoyed shopping with her children, going on road trips, and had a fondness for wearing hats and cowboy boots. Her vibrant personality and love for life were evident in everything she did.
Though Dana and Fred eventually divorced, they remained friends until her passing. Dana was preceded in death by her sister, Shelly, and her brother, Terry. She is survived by her parents, Dan and Sandra; her sister, Robin Goodman, and husband, Jimmy; her sister, Penny Hicks, and husband, Chris; her brothers, James Cook and Mark Cook, and wife, Denise; and her daughters, Heather, Farrah, and Fallon. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Dana’s life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and resilience. She brought joy to those around her and left an indelible mark on our hearts. As we remember Dana today, let us celebrate her life and the beautiful memories she created with us.
