Darlene June Carter was born to Owen and Lottie Kersey in 1938 in Long Beach, California. She graduated from Diamond Hill Jarvis High School in Fort Worth where she was noted for “Laughing mischief in her eye.” She was married to Royce Carter for 49 years, lived in Euless, TX. for 60 years and retired from Frito Lay. Darlene is survived by daughter Deborah, son Gary, son-in-law David, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. In lieu of flowers, Darlene requested donations be made to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
