Diane Byas Duffy

Diane was born May 6, 1949. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; CH and Glendean Byas and her husband of 43 years, Steve Duffy. She was a graduate of Haltom High School and dedicated many year’s service to Frito Lay as a sales accountant. Diane loved to read, travel, attend family gatherings and watch Hallmark Christmas movies. Diane cherished being a grandmother to her granddaughters and great grandchildren. She would come up with many nicknames for them such as Binks, Ms. Molly, Bell, Eyebrows, Droopy Drawers and Skippy. She would always ask her children and grandchildren to bring her a rock from their vacation to add to her rock collection.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Velvet Fisher and husband, Jim; son, Brett Ledbetter; grandchildren, Kaitlynn Dale and husband, Dalton, Marissa Elliott and husband, Colton, Macy Mora, Brooke Lehr and husband, Ryan and Meagan Ledbetter; great grandchildren, Cohen and Asher Dale and Jett and Adley Lehr.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 4, 2026 from 5 to 7pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 1:30pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
