Donna Mae Barr, 86, of Bedford, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday,
September 3rd, 2024 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Grapevine, Texas.
She was born August 4th, 1938 in Wayne County West Virginia, daughter of late Jay P. and
Bessie Smith.
She was also preceded in death by her sister Doris Locke. Donna is survived by her husband of
69 years John David Barr; two sons John (Cindy) Barr of Huntington, W.V. and Terry (Jani) Barr
of Colleyville, TX; seven grandchildren, John Jay (Nikki) Barr, Joe (Jill) Barr, Josh (Alizeh) Barr,
Jacob Barr, Brittany (Michael) Goff, Jessie (McLane) Jolly, and Jeff (Mackenzie) Barr, five great
grandchildren Kingsley, Jonah, Jozie, Gracie Barr and Hudson Goff. Two brothers Walt Smith of
Sarasota, FL and Larry Smith of Huntington, WV.
A private family service and burial will be held at 3:00PM Friday, September 6th, 2024 at
Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
