

Glenda Frances Wiesman, 76, of Southlake, Texas passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 surrounded by love and family. Glenda was born February 11, 1939 in Port Arthur, Texas. She was the second oldest of six children born to Myrtie and Gilbert Daigle. She married Elmer (Jack) Irvin Wiesman from Pilot Point, Texas on August 26, 1961. Glenda was known for several things but mostly for her sense of humor and willingness help others. She was the life of the party and always had a great story to tell! Glenda and Elmer traveled the world and they were always up for an adventure. She loved her grandchildren and was often walking in the woods, jumping on the trampoline or playing games with them. She taught her children that kindness was important and the importance of grace. She was faithful and loving and she will be greatly missed. Glenda was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, parents Myrtie and Gilbert, sister Nessie Martin and infant brother Joseph. Glenda is survived by her daughters, Denise Renee Eiserman and husband, Mark, of Denton, Eileen Murphy and husband, Noel, of Charlotte, North Carolina, Sandra Lynn Bagwell and husband, Troy, of Decatur; grandchildren Austin Michael Eiserman, Mickaela Frances Murphy, Mackenzie Rose Murphy, Grace Louise Bagwell and Samuel Irvin Bagwell; sisters Katherine Schlimper of Elgin, Texas, Dora Butler of Port Arthur, Texas and Eloise Daigle of Elgin, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, family wishes donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Keller with the Reverend Monsignor E. James Hart officiating. Burial will be at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville. Visitation is 5:00 to 6:30 pm with Rosary from 6:30 to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, April 14 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
