Gregory Michael Cheney, 77, of North Richland Hills, TX, passed away on March 8th, 2025. He was born in Salinas, California on November 4th 1947. Greg graduated from Salem Academy in Salem, Oregon, where he received his diploma in 1966. Greg attended Simpson Bible College until he was drafted to Vietnam.
He was married to Lorraine Lillie Schultz on January 20th 1968. Greg had a career in electronic engineering for Motorola. He was a member of Bear Valley Community Church and had a passion for trains, planes, and automobiles.
He is survived by Wendy Whitsett and Michael Cheney (children), Patric, Lillie, Trey, and Vincent (grandchildren), James and Jessica Cheney (siblings), numerous nieces and nephews, and Guinevere Whitsett (great granddaughter).
A memorial service for Gregory will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Bear Valley Community Church, 7900 Precinct Line Rd, Colleyville, TX 76034.
