

Grapevine, Texas - Jack Filgo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 27, 2023, at the age of 90. He was born on February 2, 1933, in Shannon, Mississippi, to his parents, Ottis and Erin Filgo. Jack was the youngest of his siblings and was preceded in death by his brothers Fred Filgo, Robin Filgo, Jimmy Filgo, and his sister, Mary Fulmer. His sister, Martha Jane Trenor, survives him.
On August 31, 1957, Jack married the love of his life, Ella Jane Brown, and together they shared 66 years of marriage. Jack proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. Following his military service, Jack became a successful entrepreneur.
Jack Filgo is survived by his loving wife, Ella Jane Filgo, and their five daughters: Teresa Goss (Don), Tammy Harris (Danny), Tina Landry, Toni Head (Mike), and Tricia Reich (Paul). Jack's greatest joy in life was his family, and he left behind 11 grandchildren, along with their spouses. Additionally, Jack had the privilege of being a great-grandfather to 12 precious children.
A celebration of Jack's life will take place on at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Countryside Bible Church, 250 Countryside Ct, Southlake Texas.
Jack will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his unwavering faith in God.
