

He was born September 13, 1936, in Hempstead County, Arkansas, to Jim Galloway & Bess Beavers Galloway. On August 31, 1955, Don married Peggy Himes in Hurst, Texas. On June 5, 1990, Don married Gerry Ford Culbertson in Colleyville, Texas.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife of 30 years, Peggy Galloway; two sisters, Jeanette Flowers and Linda Bobo; and great granddaughter, Addilynn Polizzo.
Don worked as a machinist at Menasco in Euless, Texas and retired in 1973 after 26 years. In 1973 Don and Peggy started Galloway & Sons Rodeo Company and did all the North Texas High School Rodeos and Police Rodeos for several years. The family were members of the Texas Westerneers Riding Club for many years. Don was very much a family man and loved telling stories of his growing up years in Arkansas.
Don is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gerry Galloway of Decatur; daughter, Susie Bedford & husband Cody of Decatur; son, Jimmy Galloway & wife Lorie of Decatur; son, Jerry Don Galloway of Springtown; 3 stepdaughters, Chris Polizzo & husband Pat of Haslet; Suzy Matthews & husband Skyler of Decatur, and Rachel Markham of Haslet; one sister, Dimple Smith of Hope, Arkansas and 2 brothers-in-law, Wayne Flowers & JC Bobo of Hope, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren, KC & wife Rhonda, Cassidy & wife Jessica, Julie & husband Jase, Cody & wife Adri, Kendra, Sammy, Andrew, Hannah, Brayden, Stetson, Hilton and Tanner; 7 great grandchildren, Kodee, Kiffany, Koree, Tate, Hattie, Hank and Cash; nieces of Arkansas, Pat Hollis, Shirley Sheets & husband Paul, Gina Tullis & husband Larry, Jeanann Luker & husband Charlton; nephews, Jeff Flowers, Kelly Bobo, Robbie Bobo & wife Tiffany; and numerous other relatives and friends; last but not least, Peanut, his faithful companion.
