

Funeral Services 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville. Mr. McPherson will be laid to rest next to his wife, Nadine McPherson, in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park immediately following the service. : Friends are invited to gather from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday to share memories in the Cherry Drawing Room of Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
Mr. McPherson was born Feb. 16, 1929, in Pampa to the late Vernon and Ova McPherson.
Mr. McPherson retired from Bell Helicopter Textron and the Department of Defense. He was an avid golfer and looked forward to being with his friends on the course. He was proud to be a veteran and a Mason and he was a member of Richland Hills Masonic Lodge 1348. He was a man with a wonderful attitude about life and a great sense of humor. He loved family, God and country. While he left this world for a better one, he will be forever missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, who was the love of his life, Nadine; and six beloved siblings, Vera Gassaway, Eva Ekrot, Jo LeMay, Mary Morrow, Eugene and William McPherson.
Mr. McPherson is survived by his two daughters, Debbie Armstrong and husband, Paul Smythe, of Grapevine, and Donna Courtney and husband, Jack Courtney, of Georgetown; grandchildren, Heather Conover and husband, Ron Hoxworth, and their daughter Hadley, Cody Conover, Dani Johnson and husband, Brandon Johnson, and their daughter, Olivia, Andrea Hall and husband, Justin Hall, and their daughters, Roslyn and Kennedy, Ben Courtney; and his much-loved nieces and nephews.
