Many years after that, she transferred to PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) where she spent over 25 years serving as a great teacher and mentor to all the staff in Recovery. In her last years she worked in Preadmission
Testing (PAT) where she continued to be a great teacher to patients prior to surgery. She was always there for her team and patients in the good and bad times.
In her spare time, Janice loved spending time baking, doing crafts, games and puzzles with family, and traveling along with supporting her nephews in all their activities.
Above all, Janice loved God, country, family, and friends. She had an innate ability to make everyone around her feel loved and valued. Her warmth and generosity knew no bounds, and she always went out of her way to ensure the happiness and comfort of those she cared for. She accepted Jesus as her personal savior and was baptized in the Philippine Sea in the early 1970s. Give all glory to God.
