Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
He was born in Waco on Dec. 3, 1943. He was the youngest child of Jefferson Fletcher Isbell Jr. and Jeannette Sands Isbell.
Jeff was a resident of Richland Hills and a graduate of Fort Worth's Polytechnic High School and Weatherford College. He dutifully served his country as an Air Force reservist. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 45 years and a longtime employee of the Fort Worth Independant School District. He was a mentor to orphans and volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fort Worth. Jeff was a lover of music having collected thousands of vinyl records. He loved to share his music with family, friends and everyone he met.
He was married for 48 years to the love of his life, Dianna Hicks Isbell, who faithfully took care of him during his last few years of waning health. The pride and joy of his life were his granddaughters, Brooke, Olivia and Julia; his son, Shane Isbell; and his daughter, Holly Isbell Odum.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved sister, Marieva Isbell Ratliff; and his darling infant grandson, Parker Shane Isbell.
