Jo Anne was born March 21, 1933. She was a retired assistant superintendent with the Alvin ISD. She dedicated her life to the education of children as an elementary teacher, principal, assistant superintendent and, in retirement, a volunteer teaching assistant at W.A. Porter Elementary in Hurst, where she continued to touch the lives of children.
She was a loving mother who cared for her family deeply and prayed for us continuously.
Survivors: Husband, Steve King Sr.; sons, Steve King Jr. and Roger King; daughter, Kimberly Abrahamson; grandchildren, Ryan King, Colin King, Ethan King, Lauren King and Kyle Abrahamson.
