Mrs. Joanna Jordan Garrard

Joanna was married to T.J. (Jack) Garrard on May 30, 1950. They were married for almost 60 years until his death in 2009. They had three daughters, Sandy Garrard, Vicki Davis, and Jackie Brown.

They moved around quite a bit following Jack’s career in the oilfield industry. At age 69, Joanna passed her CDL test, and her and Jack became a husband & wife team driving a hot-shot truck all over the country.

Joanna loved fishing and camping. Her and Jack traveled the country with camper in tow, hosting campsites all over the U.S.

Affectionately known as “Nanaw”, the most important thing to Joanna was Family. They hosted several family reunions over the years. They enjoyed dinners and outings with their daughters and their families and never passed up the opportunity to get together.

Joanna is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, and daughters, Sandy Garrard and Vicki Davis.

She is survived by her youngest daughter, Jackie Brown (husband, Jim), five grandchildren: Joseph Westbrook, Casey Mitchell, Christina Curry, Michelle Pearce, and Stefani Atencio and their spouses, along with seven grandchildren: Tyler Westbrook, Jordan Mitchell, Ashton Mitchell, Jacob Pearce, Kayla Nasso, Shelby Mitchell, Harper Pearce and Reagan Pearce and one great, great granddaughter, Natalie Westbrook.

Viewing will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, TX on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 11:30am-12:30pm, followed by a brief graveside service in the Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery.
