Joyce Green of Bedford, TX, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in Pilot Point, TX.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend, and colleague to all that knew and loved her. She was born on March 1, 1939 in Pilot Point, TX to Herman and Rachel Duesman.

Joyce was a caring person who always supported her family and friends. Her husband, Julian, cherished her as his “Sugar.” She would love to just sit and swing for hours on a beautiful day. She always cheered for them Dallas Cowboys, just ask the neighbors! Best FRIED CHICKEN on the planet. She had a professional career of 33 years at Texas Instruments. During her retirement years, she toured the state antiquing. She started a new glamorous career as a babysitter for her grandchildren and chauffeuring to doctor appointments. In her later years, she returned to Pilot Point at the home where she was born in and reflect on her wonderful life while swinging into the Sunset!

The visitation will be held 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. along with the Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel.

FAMILIA

Joyce, aged 80, was the wife of her late husband, Julian E. Green. Her children, Ricky Green of Bedford, TX, Russel and Kim Green of Pilot Point, TX, and Darla and Brian Crowder of Fortworth, TX, survive her. Her grandchildren, Rachel and Nathan Fuller, Leann and Juan Jimenez, Jennifer and Shane Bean, Kaelan Green, Tara Green, and Andre Green as well as her great-grandchildren, Avery Fuller, Natalie Fuller, Bella Bean, and Julian Jimenez knew her as Granny with much love. She was also much loved by her siblings, Ralph Duesman and Shirley Bybee, Leo and Karen Duesman, and Margaret-Ann and Cecil Wilde, and all the way to numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Her two nieces who loved her like a Mom, Paula Wolgamott and Leah Lorkowski will miss her very much. Her sister, Millie Wesley, and her grandson, Jeremy Green, preceded her in death.
