She worked at Parkland Hospital from 1981 until 2010 as a nurse on the kidney transplant floor. In 2002 she was given the "Salt of the Earth" award at an employee banquet. What does that mean? It is an individual considered as representative of the best or noblest elements of society. Junie was that in every part of her life. She was a devoted employee, put others before herself, was incredibly generous, and loved her family fiercely and unconditionally.
She has been reunited with her parents and baby sister Bobbie Graham. Her memories are carried on by her daughters Marta Moore (John), Maria Hicks (David) and Cathy Creasy (Chris Kiser); her siblings Ann Edwards (Bud), Debra Ribnikar (Mike), Rita Wright (Mike) and Jim Williams (Carol); and her beloved grandchildren Katherine, Paul, Megan, David, Miranda, Robby, Maryann, Charlotte, Jacob & Wyatt, and a plethora of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She loved each and every one of them so.
A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00pm on Friday June 8th at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel; 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Tx 76034.
