

Lorita was born on June 13, 1936 in Wichita Falls to JD Raines and Mildred McMahan Raines. She studied art at Midwestern University. In 1955, she married Jack Hardy Bryant and moved to Irving, TX. They began their family and attended First United Methodist Church where they made many lifelong friends.
She took great pride in creating a beautiful, loving home for her husband, children, pets, friends and extended family. Lorita was a fantastic cook, artist and seamstress. She was best known for her feisty spirit and honest advice.
Lorita is survived by her four children, Julia “Julie” Catherine, Jack Hardy Jr. and wife Tricia, James “Bo” Martin, and Joseph Carl; her five grandchildren, Wesley Charles and wife Shannon, Travis Hardy, Catherine Lea Phillip and husband CJ, Annie Raines and Brooke Anne; her two great grandchildren, Wyatt Hardy and Macon Joseph; her sister in law, JoAnn Horn; her brother in law, Danny Bryant and wife Vicki; her nieces and nephews, Chuck Horn, Brandi Bryant, Amy Gaines and husband Chris, and Daniel Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, JD and Mildred Raines and her beloved husband, Jack Bryant.
Lorita requested a private graveside service for immediate family. Due to Covid 19 restrictions the family has decided not to have a visitation. We would love for you to share your favorite Lorita story with us via mail, email or text.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ’s Haven for Children or any charity of your choice.
