

Lucia Anne Littleton 80 of Bedford, Texas passed away October 25, 2024 at her residence, after her long battle with COPD. Lucia was born on January 10, 1944 in Mineral Wells, Texas spending her formative years in Minden, Louisiana. She graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and was a member of Phi Beta Phi Sorority.
With her passion for art, Lucia’s career was spent as an Illustrator for Dillard’s Advertising Department in Fort Worth, TX. After retiring from Dillard’s, she worked for Calloway’s Nursery fulfilling her joy for plants, flowers and outdoor decor. Lucia was extremely well read with knowledge in furniture, paintings, antiques, jewelry and cars. She was also a strong advocate for animals. Over her lifetime Lucia owned a variety of dogs, a very cool cat & of course Rambo, her beloved Pomeranian.
Lucia, with her friends of over 40 years, Helene Firlik and Stormy Smith spent many Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve dinners, 4th of July parties, and of course watching the fireworks from our houses and not to forget the Cowboy games, her all time favorite and everything in between. They were her family, and she often introduced them as her sisters, since she didn’t have any.
Lucia is survived by her son Rudolfo Christian Stahl, and his two daughters living in Guatemala. Her cousins Bob and wife Eleanor Yeager, living in Dallas, TX. frequently got together for many conversations down memory lane delighting all those who were listening. Lucia is also survived by her cousin Brooks who lives in Chincoteague, VA.
Lucia is preceded in death by her parents, J.Y. Littleton and her mother Clarys Brooks Littleton.
