Ms. Mary Lena Vidal

Born in Houston, Texas, she was the daughter of Marcelo and Virginia Cisneros. She graduated from Corsicana High School in 1963. She moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area where she met and married Joe E. Vidal. They raised four children together in Arlington; Joe Jr., Genna, Paul ,and Geneva "Mimi".

Mary continued to live in Arlington after her children were grown and was a long time employee of the Arlington Independent School District. In her free time, she enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and going on vacations. Her family will fondly remember her love of shopping and gift giving, and the joy the holidays brought her. She was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and her faith sustained her through many trials.

She is survived by her four children, eleven grandchildren (Isaiah, Erika, Elijah, Caprial, Ethan, Michaela, Cris, Indiana, Elliott, Ian, and Natalia, one great grandson, Solis and her constant companion, Joe E. Vidal (Dorothy, Jo Elaine, Jordan, Gianna, Jayson, Colby, Harley, and Audrey).

Mary's services will take place on Monday, January 22nd, 2024 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, TX 76034. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. and will be followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m.
