Megan was born on February 9, 1990 in Fort Worth, Texas and was the daughter of James “Larry” Brandenburg and Deanna Louise Liss Brandenburg. She had a kindred spirit and was a devoted friend to so many. Megan had an infectious smile that lit the place up wherever she was. She was so funny and kindhearted. Megan put the needs of friends and strangers before herself and would literally give someone the “shirt off her back” to help someone in need. Megan always had a positive attitude no matter the circumstances.
Megan graduated from Trinity High School in Euless, Texas in 2008. She went on to study photography at the Art Institute of Fort Worth and was the proprietor of MB Photography. She absolutely loved shooting weddings for friends and clients. Megan also loved painting in her spare time. The outdoors often served as the background in much of her work. Many other works included animals and simply nature itself. Megan had one baby; a 10-year-old Great Dane named Elenore or “Eletoes” for short. She also had four other dogs named Cotton, Chloa, Susie, and Roscoe that she shared with the love of her life Mitchell Huddleston of Weatherford, Texas. The five babies are being well cared for by Mitchell.
Megan was an athlete, participated in several sports and pushed herself to maintain a high level of physical fitness. She loved playing softball for the Lady Trojans at Trinity High School. Megan adored her teammates and coach Lemmon. She also loved to hunt and fish, which she learned from her daddy. Megan became an accomplished Skeet & Trap shooter and thoroughly enjoyed “busting clays”. She also loved taking care of plants and gardening. Another sport she loved was “Motor Cross”. She loved riding her dirt bike and got the biggest kick riding. Frankly, she poured her heart and soul into everything she did and there simply is not enough paper to put her life into words. Our “Princess” lived life to the fullest. She truly lived more in thirty years than most people in a lifetime.
Megan is survived by her parents, Larry and Deanna Brandenburg of Bedford, Texas, and half-brother Michael Cory Brandenburg, his son Alex and wife Shay of Galveston, Texas and God Parents, Roger and Alecia Daniel of Terrell, Texas.

Megan Brooke Brandenburg of Weatherford, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 12, 2020.
Our heavenly father welcomed a beautiful Angel and said unto her, “Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant”. “From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the Lord’s name is to be praised.” Psalm 113: Verse 3.

The Celebration of Life will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel in Colleyville, Texas on June 27th at 3 PM. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.bluebonnethills.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan B. Komen For the Cure of Cancer. Megan hated littering and picked up trash at every opportunity. Her friend Kayleigh Oyerbides requests that folks consider the Texas “Adopt a Highway” program in her memory.
We were so very blessed to have her for the time she was with us on earth. Although we all will continue to grieve for Megan we know where she rests. Be at peace knowing that God is still in control, this was his plan and one day we will see and rejoice with her again. The day she passed away, the daily scripture sitting on our desk was titled, “Getting There.”
There is no condition or circumstance of life in which we cannot abide in Jesus. Put no conditions on your life ~ let Jesus be everything to you, and He will take you home with Him not only for a day, but for eternity.
They said unto Him, “Rabbi…where are You going?”
He said unto them, “Come and see.”
