Michael Ray Owens was born on December 13th, 1946, in Dallas, Texas to William (Pete) and Lois Mae Owens. While they started off in what is affectionately known as "The Wilbarger House" in Fort Worth, they moved to Richland Hills around 1953 where they would put down their roots as a family.
He married the love of his life Gracie on May 21st, 1971. Mike retired from Greyhound just shy of 40 years on June 20th, 2017
He is preceded in death by his parents Pete and Lois Owens, and is survived by his wife Gracie Owens, son Billy and wife Shelley, son Steven and wife Dahlia, grandkids Alyssa and husband Alex, Jake and fiancé Ilse, Colton, Ethan, Sophia, Olivia, Avery and Michael Ray, one great grandson Jace and a great granddaughter Vanessa Nicole who is due in July, brother Roger Owens and wife Janice, sister Dianne Hollerman and husband John, and numerous beloved cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
A closed casket viewing will be May 15, 2025 from 11:00am - 12:00pm, immediately followed by the service at from 12:00pm - 1:00PM, followed by the burial, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas, 76034.
