Nancy Ann (Ingram) LaPrade, age 85, of Weatherford, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Nancy was born August 27, 1940 in Paris, Texas to Roy F. Ingram and Irene May Ingram. Nancy graduated from Paris Junior College in 1960 and Sam Houston University in 1962. Nancy worked as a 5th grade teacher in the Irving ISD for 4 years before becoming a wonderful stay at home mom.
Nancy married Robert LaPrade in 1959 and together they had one child, Terry.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Robert LaPrade, sister Virginia Ruth Stevens and her husband Shelby L. Stevens, brother and sister in law Richard Norman Ingram and Jean Gatton Ingram and niece Angela Ingram.
Nancy is survived by her son, Terry LaPrade and wife Cynthia; step-grandchildren, John Mays, Dr. Travis Mays (Toy), and Cameron Hines (Travis); nieces Linda Smith (Richard), Laurie Griswold (Rodney), and nephews Steve Ingram and Shelby Lynn Stevens along with great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her honor.
