Opal was born August 23, 1930 to Herman and Philis Johnson in Glasgow, Montana. After her marriage and the birth of her first child, Luana, in Seattle, Washington, she moved to Pampa, Texas where her 3 remaining children, Linda, Bobby, and Billy were born. Opal was a homemaker and held several jobs over the years. She was notorious for her witty and outgoing personality, her outstanding culinary skills, and her adventuresome spirit. She and husband, David, traveled throughout the U.S. and she was always looking forward to that next trip! She was a Believer in Jesus Christ with full assurance her eternal destination was, and is now, with our Lord in Heaven.
