Opal was born March 23, 1930. She was the daughter of Clem and Ada Elrod of Perryton. Opal was a faithful member of Legacy/Pipeline Road Church of Christ, where she was a Sunday school teacher, wedding singer and a quilter.
The family wants to thank Dr. Rebeca Sharp, Horizon Bay Assisted Living and Professional Hospice for the marvelous care they provided over the years.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; a great-granddaughter; and her husband of 59 years, Kenneth Phillips.
Survivors: Her loving family, Kenna Smith, Lea Ann and Dan Villalanti, Sue Phillips and James Hall; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
