

Paul Dennis Gentry, age 66, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at his home in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born October 28, 1953, in Fort Worth to Chester and Imogene Gentry. He was a 1972 graduate of Eastern Hills High School in Fort Worth and attended the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
Dennis resided in Fort Worth until 1984 when he moved to Prosper, Texas and married his wife of 25 years, Linda. After her passing in 2010, he remained in Prosper until 2017, at which time he returned to Fort Worth to live with and take care of his mother.
After spending over 30 years of his professional career working in the telecommunications industry, Dennis established himself as a well-respected and well-known contact in the industry. He developed many lifelong personal and professional relationships while establishing himself in his career. After leaving the telecom industry, Dennis and his wife Linda enjoyed running their own home décor store together in McKinney, Texas. Afterward, he spent some time in the medical equipment industry before eventually retiring in 2017.
Dennis had a knack for making people laugh and always brought a sense of humor to the room. Along with keeping constant track of his grandkids school activities; he enjoyed eating out, listening to live music, going out on his boat, and spending time with his loyal dog Lola. In recent years he has enjoyed attending Dallas Maverick games and musical concerts with his faithful girlfriend and companion Sissy. In addition, he recently has enjoyed going to Dallas Cowboy games with his cousin Bruce and his wife Alex.
Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his mother Imogene Gentry of Fort Worth, his brother Mike Gentry and wife Sherry of Plano, his step-son Jeff Harrison and wife Janna of Prosper. In addition, he will be fondly remembered by his 4 grandchildren Melanie, Rebecca, Kevin, and Dylan along with his great-grandchildren Cody, Kylee, and Serenity. He will also be fondly remembered by his nephew Trent and nieces Courtney, Casey and her children; Mickey, Kylie-Raye, and Mikaela-Mae.
He was preceded in death by his father Chester R. Gentry and his loving wife of 25 years, Linda K. Gentry
