I’ve been  thinking of my sweet sister in love all day today. You were so much more than an in law. Big sister, friend, mentor.. you were the most beautiful combination of grace, yet direct.  The amount of times I went to you for advice, for you to sometimes let me know in love it was me in the wrong. The way you could laugh at me, and have me laughing in the end but admitting how wrong I was is something not many people can do. 

You loved that you would always win at Mexican train or any other game we played  around the table. The way you loved every one of your nieces and nephews,  was unlike anyone other. Baking for the kids bake sale will never be the same without you. 
You would be so proud of how Ashley has handled every single step. With beauty and grace, just like you. Until we meet again, my beautiful sister.

I met Rachel in 1994. At the time were both employed by Bank of America. We were in different departments but our cubicles were adjacent to each other. It took no time at all to become friends & lunchmates.  We were joined by our friend & coworker Debra.  Our lunches became an hour of laughter, bonding, & grumbling about our jobs.  But mostly laughter.  I loved to hear Rachel laugh.  Ashley was born not long after we met.  She was just down the hall from us at the company daycare.  It became our routine to first visit Ashley, then proceed to lunch.  Ashley toddled around my cubicle exploring the wonders of staplers, keyboards, & swivel chairs.  We loved it.  Rachel embodied all that is good in this world.  She was a great wife, mother, & good friend. Ashley, you won the parent lottery in life.  It may not feel that way now, since David & Rachel both left this world too soon, but they both had the greatest impact on the lives of everyone they knew in the time they had with us. My heart breaks for you & your loss.  They were simply the best.  My sincere condolences.

Rachel was one of a kind, she was my mentor, Manager, Friend and stand in Mother for the past 15 years. She was all things good in this world and I will continue to carry her light with me wherever I go! she was a bright light in this world. She carried herself with such grace and compassion for others. I will never take my years with her for granted 💜 I love
You and will miss you more than I can express.

To Ashley (and the rest of your family), please accept my condolences for the loss of your sweet Mom. She is reunited with your Dad in heaven and rejoicing. The pain and hurt is rough. No words can express how great it was to have known your Mom and Dad. Two of the most generous and fun loving people we had the pleasure of being with during our years together with the Timber Creek band. Prayers, love and hugs from our family to yours

Rachel was a dear friend, and one I could share joys , sadness, praises or problems with. She was a wonderful prayer partner and encourager.  Our houses are an hour apart,  but even so, when Don and I had Covid she wanted to bring us meds and meals. She didn’t care about the drive. I already miss her deeply and will until I see her in heaven.

Many memories etched of summer trips to see you all. From state to state, year to year. Thank you for those fun memories cuz.
