Raul Enrique Hinojosa, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, December 4, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on September 28, 1935, Raul lived a life marked by love, dedication, and unwavering strength. His warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew him. Raul was an Air Force Veteran and served honorably as Airman 2nd Class.

Raul was married to his devoted wife, Maria Antonia, for 64 wonderful years. He is survived by his cherished children: Isabel Balderas (Alberto), Marcela Brooks, Melba Breidenstein, Jose Luis Hinojosa (Valerie), and Martha Birdwell (Carl); his loving sister, Delicia Campos; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his brother Gaspar Hinojosa, his sister Maria Luisa Garza, and his granddaughter Margarita.

Raul will be remembered not only for his deep commitment to family but also for his passions that brought joy to those around him. He loved barbecuing, hunting, and fishing, and found his greatest happiness in gathering his family together to share laughter, stories, and good food. His home was always a place of warmth and togetherness, where everyone felt welcome.

A celebration of Raul’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 9, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, located at 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, at 11:00 AM at the same location, with graveside burial to follow.

Raul Enrique Hinojosa, amado esposo, padre y amigo, falleció pacíficamente el 4 de diciembre de 2025, rodeado de su familia, a la edad de 90 años. Nacido el 28 de septiembre de 1935, Raul vivió una vida llena de amor, dedicación y fortaleza inquebrantable. Su calidez y generosidad tocaron a todos los que lo conocieron.

Raul estuvo casado con su amada esposa, Maria Antonia, durante 64 maravillosos años. Le sobreviven sus queridos hijos: Isabel Balderas (Alberto), Marcela Brooks, Melba Breidenstein, Jose Luis Hinojosa (Valerie) y Martha Birdwell (Carl); su hermana, Delicia Campos; nueve nietos, catorce bisnietos y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas, quienes fueron su mayor alegría.

Le precedieron en la muerte su hermano Gaspar Hinojosa, su hermana Maria Luisa Garza y su nieta Margarita.

Raul será recordado no solo por su profundo compromiso con la familia, sino también por sus pasiones que brindaron alegría a quienes lo rodeaban. Le encantaba hacer carne asada, cazar y pescar, y encontraba su mayor felicidad reuniendo a su familia para compartir risas, historias y buena comida. Su hogar siempre fue un lugar de calidez y unión, donde todos se sentían bienvenidos.

La celebración de la vida de Raul se llevará a cabo el martes 9 de diciembre, de 5:00 PM a 9:00 PM, con un Rosario a las 7:00 PM, en Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, ubicado en 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034. El servicio fúnebre se realizará el miércoles 10 de diciembre a las 11:00 AM en el mismo lugar, seguido por el sepelio en el cementerio.

A Rosary will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, located at 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034, on December 9, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Visitation is scheduled at the same venue on December 10, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

The Funeral service will follow on December 10, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.

A Committal service will take place on December 10, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm at the same location.
