Richard Eugene Reno

      Richard Reno was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Richard will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

       He was the son of Orville and Viola Reno.

      Richard was raised with one brother, Bob.

      In 1960 he married Kay Elizabeth Reno. They were married until her death in 2002. In 2004 Richard married Bertha Marquez Reno.

      Richard worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Richard was blessed with three sons, Brian, Alan, and Darrin. Another blessing for Richard was the gift of two grandchildren, Zachary and Gabriel.

      Fortunately, Richard enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Richard worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. Richard worked in Aircraft Engineering and Manufacturing for most of his adult life. He was a very creative man who touched a lot of lives and will be missed by his many friends and family. Richard always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.

      Richard passed away on September 6, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Orville and Viola Reno, his wife of over 40 years, Kay Elizabeth Reno and his son Brian Reno. He leaves behind his wife of 12 years, Bertha Marquez Reno; sons, Alan Reno and Darrin Reno and his wife Zee; grandchildren, Zachary and Gabriel Reno and his brother, Bob Reno. Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Colleyville, Texas.

      Simply stated, Richard was an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Richard leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Richard Reno.

He is preceded in death by his parents Orville and Viola Reno, his wife of over 40 years, Kay Elizabeth Reno and his son Brian Reno. He leaves behind his wife of 12 years, Bertha Marquez Reno; sons, Alan Reno and Darrin Reno and his wife Zee; grandchildren, Zachary and Gabriel Reno and his brother, Bob Reno.

Richard was born in Vernon, Kansas in 1939 and was raised in Wichita. In 1960 he married Kay Elizabeth Reno. They were married until her death in 2002. In 2004 Richard married Bertha Marquez Reno. Richard worked in Aircraft Engineering and Manufacturing for most of his adult life. He was a very creative man who touched a lot of lives and will be missed by his many friends and family.
