

He was born on November 3, 1944, in Fort Worth, Texas.
His parents were Roy and Ruth. He grew up learning the values of hard work and dedication, traits he carried throughout his life.
Richard took after his father, Roy, and became very well respected in the concrete and construction business, where he worked for many years and built a reputation for integrity, skill, and reliability.
On November 4, 1960, he married the love of his life, Connie Jean Vann. They shared 66 wonderful years of marriage together.
Richard was devoted father and family man who loved spending time with those closest to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruth, and his siblings Barbara and David.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Connie Jean: children ChrisE'nna and ConE'tte: grandson Corey and wife Lynn: granddaughter Devra: six great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Boston, Isabel, Wrett and Anthony: and two great-great grandchildren, Keith and Jimbo.
Richard will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for his family, and the many friendships he formed throughout his life.
Outside of work, Richard had many passions. He was a car enthusiast, an avid sportsman, and enjoyed hunting, camping, boating, and a good game of dice.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
His faith was an important part of his life, and he remained active in his church, where he found fellowship, strength, and a deep sense of community.
If Richard could leave one final message, it would be these words:
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4:7(KJV) Richard has finished his race, his faith is fulfilled.
A Committal Service will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034, US, on March 23, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
