

Robert Marion Seamster, 74, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, in Fort Worth, after a battle with Parkinson’s. He was born in San Francisco, CA in 1950, to Marion N. Seamster and Barbara J. Shields.
He grew up in Phoenix, AZ and El Paso, TX prior to moving to Fort Worth with his parents in 1966 and attended Eastern Hills High School, Class of 1969. After graduation, Robert attended Texas Wesleyan University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business in 1972.
Robert was a Salesman for Hussmann Corporation for 40 years traveling all over the country, until he retired in 2019.
He enjoyed going to concerts, woodworking, fishing, hunting, dirt bike riding with his sons, baseball, and traveling. He was always on the go and loved keeping busy with his “rat-killing”. Robert loved spending time with his family and was always present at his grandchildren’s activities cheering them on.
Robert is survived by his two sons, Bryan J. Seamster (Brianne), Carey P. Seamster (Vicky); three grandchildren (Bryan, Jake, and Breanna); three great-grandchildren (Elias, Graham, and Brooks); as well as two nieces (Wendy and Holly) and their families, and the mother of his sons, Kathy Ward.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Barbara Seamster, wife, Cherie, his sister, Nancy Headland, Brother-in-law, Phil Headland, and nephew, Scott Headland.
He leaves behind lots of love, laughter, and many unforgettable memories. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of hard work and dedication and the love of family will carry on.
Robert’s visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM with the Memorial Service immediately following at 3:00 PM, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034.
In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations in his name to a charity of your choice or by planting a tree in Robert’s memory.
