She was born in St. Paul, Minnestota, to Gordon and Leona Christensen. Ruth was a personnel secretary for many years and work for both Braniff and Gate Gourmet.
Ruth enjoyed cross-stitching, gardening, needlepoint and cooking.
Ruth is survived by her devoted husband, Dwaine Carlson; sons, Deane, Michael and Billy Carlson; brother, David Christensen; sister, Marjorie Johnson; 7-grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be held from 10:00 am - Noon on January 30th at the funeral home in Colleyville, Texas. Followed by the Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel. Interment to follow services at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ruth’s honor to the Salvation Army.
