Sandra Lee Hanson Heizer

Sandra Lee Heizer, 69, of Fort Worth, TX, passed away peacefully to be with her friend and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. Celebration of Love: 10:00am on Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Colleyville, TX. Visitation: 3 to 5pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Sandy was born in 1948 in Fort Worth, TX, and was a proud graduate of Brewer High School in 1966. She played basketball and volleyball while in the National Honor Society serving as a class officer. While working at Montgomery Ward’s she met and married the love of her life, Dennis Heizer, in 1968. She then worked at Southwestern Bell for 9 years prior to her and Dennis owning and operating Rufe Snow Mobil Service Center for 26 years in North Richland Hills, TX. Her hobbies included ceramics, being a tirelessly loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all, working with the Brewer Exes Association, and collecting all things Coca-Cola. She is preceded in death by her Father, Winnell Calvert Hanson, and Brother-In-Law Buzz White. She is survived by her Mother, Freddie Hanson; husband, Dennis Heizer of 49 years; son, Clint Heizer and wife Debbie; son, Cole Heizer and wife Neely; sister, Carolyn Morris and husband Eddie; sister; Helen Barrett and husband Jimmie; grandchildren, Allison, Danielle, Wyatt, Aubrey Sue and Grant Heizer; countless of nieces and nephews, family and friends she loved so dearly.
