

Sarah F. Lanier was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Sarah will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
She was the daughter of Charlie Franklin and Levella Blake Turner.
Empathic and loyal, Sarah was committed to making her new family happy.
Sarah worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Sarah was blessed with two daughters; Corenne, Genoice, and one son James. Another blessing for Sarah was the gift of five grandkids; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren, Keith, Greg, Rick, Carrie, Robert; Jeff, Rebecca, Kaci, hannah, Meaghan, Katie, Clay, Rachel; Travid, Addyson, Azaria, Xasen, Georgia, and Harrison.
Sarah enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were sharing her love for cooking a good meal, and making good memories surrounded by her family. She was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share her interests with others.
Sarah passed away on April 3, 2016 in Bedford, Texas. She is survived by her daughters, Corenne (Jack) Hill, and Genoice (Lewis) Wright; Grandchildren, Keith (Kim) Hill, Greg (Pam) Hill, Rick Hill, Carrie Wright, and Robert Wright; Great Grandchildren, Jeff (Dawn) Jackson, Rebecca (Tyler) Hall, Kaci Hill, Hannah (Todd) Haymans, Meaghan Hill, Katie (Donny) Porter, Clay(Jocelyn) Hill and Rachel Wright; Great Great-grandchildren, Travis Jackson, Addyson Jackson, Azaria Thompson, Casen Hall, Georgia Hall and Harrison Porter; Daughter-in-love, Paula Lanier Bearden and numerous extended family friends. Services were held at First Baptist Church of Euless, Texas. Sarah was laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
Simply stated, Sarah was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Sarah leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Sarah F. Lanier.

Sarah F. Lanier went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Services: Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at FBC Euless. Visitation will be held prior to service, beginning at 12:30p.m. Interment will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Sarah was born August 11, 1919 to Charlie Franklin Turner and Levella Blake Turner in Wood County, Texas. She married the love of her life, James Clifton Lanier, Sr., on October 13, 1934. They moved to Dallas in 1944 from Wood County. She often shared her love of cooking sharing a good meal, and making good memories surrounded by her family. Sarah was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Sarah is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Clifton Lanier, Sr.; Son, James Clifton Lanier, Jr., and her parents, Frank and Levella Turner. Left to cherish Sarah's memory are her daughters, Corenne (Jack) Hill, and Genoice (Lewis) Wright; Grandchildren, Keith (Kim) Hill, Greg (Pam) Hill, Rick Hill, Carrie Wright, and Robert Wright; Great Grandchildren, Jeff (Dawn) Jackson, Rebecca (Tyler) Hall, Kaci Hill, Hannah (Todd) Haymans, Meaghan Hill, Katie (Donny) Porter, Clay(Jocelyn) Hill and Rachel Wright; Great Great-grandchildren, Travis Jackson, Addyson Jackson, Azaria Thompson, Casen Hall, Georgia Hall and Harrison Porter; Daughter-in-love, Paula Lanier Bearden and numerous extended family friends.
