Mrs. Suzanne "Suzie" Jane McDonald

Suzie was born on July 20, 1947 in Pennsylvania to Edward and Margaret Scherer. In 1963 Suzie met Bill, the love of her life in Baltimore, they would later be married in 1968. The first ten years of marriage, Bill and Suzie moved around the country and started a family finally settling in Colleyville where they spent the last 40 years together. She worked for American Industrial, GIC and then Mercantile Partners in Fort Worth, Tx.

Suzie was active in the several women's clubs and enjoyed playing any type of card game. Suzie and Bill had an open door and heart to many of the boys over the years. She loved spending time with her family and being “GRAM”, always the biggest cheerleader at their extracurricular events.

Suzie is survived by her son Gregg McDonald of Keller, Tx, son Kevin McDonald and wife Crissy of Fort Worth, grandchildren Alexis, Makaylia and Zach who she loved dearly, a sister Sandy, nieces Trisha Ewart and Cheryl Maisel all of Maryland along with many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband William L. McDonald, as well as her parents Ed and Margaret Scherer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the form a donation at your local food bank. Bill and Suzie contributed and donated annually to the local food banks.
