Momma, I miss you so much. I miss having those late night talks with you when I would come come home late. You always had a smile on your face and that is something I will always remember. Not a day goes by that I’m not reminded of your kindness and warmth in some way. I wish my daughter could’ve met her grandma in person so that she could get to know you and love you. I send my deepest condolences to the Tijerina family. Sylvia was one of the nicest ladies I've ever met .I remember going to the 7-11 with Estevan and buying her cigarettes She always had a friendly smile and was very kind hearted . God Bless You Sylvia

I would like to just say Sylvia, thank you for always accepting me, and embracing my daughter as one your own grandchildren.  Thank you for everything,  you will truly be missed.  My deepest condolences to The Tijerina Family.

Words cannot express the depth of love we all have for you Tia Sylvia. Your sweet, loving nature and distinct voice will forever stay in my heart. Our collective hearts are heavy with grief, but we shall rejoice in your new-found peace. Until we meet again, lots of tight hugs and kisses.
