

Mr. Tommy Samuel Anderson Jr., age 81, passed away at home in Watauga, Texas from bladder cancer. He was born on the evening of May 31st, 1941 to Ardath and Tommie Samuel Anderson, Sr. in Ft. Worth, Texas.
He had many interests. As a young boy he would play under a big tree in his front yard. He had a brick toy form that he would use to make bricks and build forts. As he grew older he would throw the Press Newspaper riding on a bike. He had a relative named, Tom Hammer, who would come by his house and take Tommy with him on his job in Ft. Worth.
Tomy was saved in a church in Haltom City, Texas at the age of 9 years.He met his wife, Marie, in church where they were married in January of 1961. He joined the Navy and served in the Atlantic Fleet on the USS Farragut DLG 6. He worked at General Dynamics, now called Lockheed, for over 30 years. He retired in 2001. He enjoyed his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Marie; daughter, Anne Anderson; grandsons Philip Anderson and James Anderson;granddaughter, Ellen Austin Anderson; sisters Wanda Eastwood, Betty Gabbert, and Beverly Bradley; sister-in-law JoAnn Jackson; Brothers-in-law Harry Bradley, Donald Smith of Belgrade, Montana, Kenneth Smith, and Steve Jackson; cousins, Linda and Kenneth Moore and Ricky and Brenda Anderson; as well as many, many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Tommy will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas 76034. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas 76034.
