

Virginia Lee Waller was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Virginia will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
She was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Belle Troy.
Virginia was raised with two sisters, Marie and Connie, and one brother, James. Virginia was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings shared many life experiences over the years.
She was married to James L. "J.L." Waller for 60 years.
Virginia worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Virginia was blessed with one daughter, Wanda and two sons, Edwin and Richard. Another blessing for Virginia was the gift of six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, Kenny, Cindy, Elisa, Edie, Whitney, Haven, Colton, Jared, Taylor, Tanner, Kylee, Jamie, Emily, Erika, Chesney, Clancy.
Virginia was a woman who took pride in upholding her beliefs. So it is little wonder that she took an active role in her community, Virginia and J.L. were actively involved in the city of Colleyville owning businesses and through other city organizations. In honor of her service, Mayor Kelley proclaimed her birthday "Virginia Waller Day" in 2015.
Virginia’s faith was important to her. Virginia Lee Waller was an active member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church where she served the Lord as a Sunday school teacher and in other offices of the church since 1962. She was a great and selfless prayer warrior and influenced many lives with her Christian faith.
Virginia passed away on September 23, 2016 in Beford, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Lufcy; sons, Edwin Waller and wife, Elizabeth Ann, and Richard Waller and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Cindy Eldredge and husband, Duane, Elisa Jones, Edie Gray and husband, Jimmy, Whitney McDonald and husband, Greg, and Haven Waller; Brooke Proffitt; great-grandchildren, Colton, Jared, Taylor, Tanner, Kylee, Jamie, Emily, Erika, Chesney and Clancy; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Services were held at Pleasant Run Baptist Church in Colleyville, Texas. Virginia was laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
Simply stated, Virginia was an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Virginia leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. She loved doing things with her family, including family gatherings and her grandchildren's activities. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Virginia Lee Waller.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Lufcy; sons, Edwin Waller and wife, Elizabeth Ann, and Richard Waller and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Cindy Eldredge and husband, Duane, Elisa Jones, Edie Gray and husband, Jimmy, Whitney McDonald and husband, Greg, and Haven Waller; daughter-in-law, Brooke Proffitt; great-grandchildren, Colton, Jared, Taylor, Tanner, Kylee, Jamie, Emily, Erika, Chesney and Clancy; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
