Wilfred Lee Gilchrist

Wilfred L. Gilchrist, age 85, of Weatherford, Texas went to be with his Lord and savior on Friday, March 2, 2018. He will always be remembered as a loving father, friend and colleague to all who knew him. Wilfred was born on October 17, 1932 in Wakita, OK. To John and Esther Gilchrist. He is proceeded in death by his parents; his brothers, Cecil, Russell, Marvin, and Raymond Gilchrist; and his sister, Opal Armfield.

Wilfred is survived by his loving wife, Eunice Gilchrist; son, Charles Gilchrist and his wife Trina; grandchildren, Stephen Gilchrist and his wife Pamela, and Reese Gilchrist; siblings, Idella Diller and husband George, Mary Ellen Pearcy and husband Clois and numerous nieces, nephews and extended relations.

The visitation will begin at 9 o’clock a.m. at the funeral home. The funeral service will be at 10 o’clock on Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
