

He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 6, 1932. Bill, a childhood Polio survivor, graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City, then received a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree while playing basketball at Oklahoma Baptist University.
On August 18, 1956 Bill married Edna Ann Hilton with whom he shared 67 years of marriage.
Edna Ann Hilton passed away on April 3rd 2025.
Bill had a successful career as an Insurance General Adjuster, Claims Manager, and Surety Bonding Adjuster for 37 years, working for one company, Safeco Insurance, all across the United states.
He was a member of the U.S. Naval Reserve, worked in the Oklahoma oil field, and had a passion for serving the Lord as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Bedford. He was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Oklahoma Sooners. In retirement, Bill loved his time with family and looked forward to his weekly outings was with the ROMEOs ( Real Old Men Eating Out) and cherished his lifelong friendships with former colleagues from Safeco Insurance.
He is survived by his children, Mark, Stan, and Scot (and wife Kim); grandchildren, Kristin, Laura, Sarah, and Blake, his 4 great grandchildren, and of course his beloved companion, his dachshund, Andy. Bill's love for the Lord, family, and his dog never wavered.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, April 3rd, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, April 4th, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas. Interment will follow the funeral service at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park; Colleyville, Texas.
