William B. Novak, Jr. passed away on June 2, 2015 at the age of 77. He is preceded in death by his parents, William B. Novak Sr., and Estelle Kuhatschek Novak; and his brother Anthony S. Novak. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marilyn Novak; son, William B. Novak III, his wife Nancy and his children Natalie A. Vanzyl and her husband Kyle, and Harrison D. Novak; Daughter, Diane Novak Calvert, her husband Jim and their children Alex T. Calvert, Jeff G. Calvert and Madelyn D. Calvert; siblings, Robert J. Novak and his wife Karen, Nancy N. Patterson and her husband Robert Patterson. Bill graduated from Highland Park Highschool in 1956. He served on the Dallas Police Force for 2 years. Bill attended North Texas State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 1963. After college, Bill went to work for IBM and retired after over 40 years of service. He was very athletic for most of his life , he played football in high school and ran a marathon in his late 40's. He attended First Baptist Church in Euless. Funeral Service: Friday, June 5, 2015 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home with burial immediately following the service.
