Betty Jo Robertson, 86, of Collierville, TN, passed away on April 17th after a brief illness. Betty was born on September 16th, 1937 to Harris and Bernice Warren in Crockett Mills, TN. After graduating from Crockett Mills High School in 1955, Betty eloped with Larry Joe Robertson, a pilot and Air National Guard navigator, and the pair moved to Memphis, TN to start their family. Betty Jo and Larry Joe had two children, Suzanne Brooks of Eads, TN, and Jon Robertson of Ft. Lauderdale Florida. They had three grand children, Lauren Guff of Collierville, TN, Rachel Jaquess of Cordova, TN, and Samantha Brooks of Red Banks, MS. Betty and Larry had five great-grandchildren, Sarah Guff, Margaret Guff, Hannah Guff, Amelia Guff, and Ben Platz. Beloved by her family and friends, Betty enjoyed cooking, gardening, entertaining and decorating. She and Larry Joe retired to Collierville, TN, where they spent their remaining years with their children, grand children, and great grandchildren. Betty Jo Robertson was preceded in death by Larry Joe Robertson. A graveside service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 20, 2024 with a reception to follow in the Magnolia Cemetery Chapel.
