Charles "Charlie" W. Kimbell, Jr.

Along with his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his brother Hillman Eugene Kimbell.

He is survived by his wife of 51-years Linda Pritchett Kimbell, daughter Allison Kimbell Kellon, and granddaughters Caroline Kimbell Kellon and Alexandria Kimbell Kellon.

Charlie started his career with Southern Airways in Atlanta, Ga in 1971 thru several mergers retired as a Regional Director with Northwest Airlines in 2005; though he continued to work in the aviation industry until 2013.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and attending Atlanta Braves baseball. In his retirement he enjoyed long trips to the beach and watching his beloved Braves.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, December 7th from noon until three o’clock in the afternoon to share their stories while having a Coke and a chocolate chip cookie in Charlie’s memory.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Paige Robbins Adult Day Care Center in Collierville, TN.
