Charlotte Davis Dean

Charlotte Davis Dean, 80, lifelong resident of Collierville, TN and member of Collierville United Methodist Church, died after a long illness on March 8 with family by her side. A graduate of Collierville High School and Southern Methodist University, she retired as a chemist from Humko/Witco Chemical. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Gordon Dean and her sister, Anne Babin, Miss Dean is survived by five nieces and nephews: Ginny McDonald (Bill), Ruthanne Jenkins, John Babin (Debby), Paul Babin (Pam), and Philip Babin (Susan). She is also survived by eleven grand nieces and nephews and four great-grand nieces. The visitation will be held at Collierville Funeral Home on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 5 - 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at Collierville United Methodist Church Sanctuary on the Square at 10 a.m. with interment following at Magnolia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Collierville United Methodist Church Sanctuary on the Square Restoration Fund.
